Probably a shallow attempt to impress the west. That's my take. Even if they didn't do it on purpose, whatever design firm in China came up with this thing ought to do its research before they become the butt of international, perhaps intergalactic jokes...

The funny thing is that their rockets will be one tenth the price of NASA and the ESA, the names of their space shuttles will be Colambria and Deescoveri and they'll be called Galactic Buses.
